The Product Application & Approval Process
Vendors submit applications via Whole Foods Market Northern California's Vendor Product Submission (VPS) system. In addition, buyers
can proactively ask vendors to submit an application online after seeing a product
in the field or during a presentation meeting.
Once an online application has been submitted, three things can happen:

Buyers can deny an application based on the information provided before seeing
samples.

Buyers can request samples and additional information, but reject the application
if the samples or information are not received within the specified timeframe.

After reviewing samples and additional information, buyers can accept or reject
the product.
